On PSVR1, the one I absolutely loved to put people into was Ocean Descent (a part of VR Worlds). It's possible we'll get something from Sony's CES presentation in early January, but I honestly wouldn't expect anything on this front until February.

I expect you're going to have to wait until much closer to release for info on free stuff. I will be shockedsaddened if this one doesn't come to PSVR2, but it isn't mentioned yet. Doubtful that will be on PSVR2, and it's definitely not one to throw a VR newb into.īeat Saber is another simple one, especially if you turn on the "no fail". The "park full of Dinosaurs" may have been a scene from Robinson: The Journey. Unsure yet on whether this (or Vacation Simulator) will be available on PSVR2. I find Job Simulator on PSVR1 a great "demo" experience - it's very intuitive, it's silly, and you stay stationary. I’m sure Sony have a few things up their sleeves to announce still, but they’re not going to port free experiences over, that is pretty much guaranteed. There were almost no first party games release on PSVR. As to why Sony are showing no interest in supporting their own hardware is a complete mystery, but pretty consistent. Although Horizon is a Sony IP, it hasn’t been made by Guerilla studios and was farmed out to a third party developer. Sony themselves have made zero games for the launch of PSVR2 (as far as we currently know).

They’re not interested in ports, at least they have not told us of any of their own IPs being ported. PSVR2 is being lined up by Sony as a new technology, or at least a significant jump from the last. Support for their own back catalogue to be ported, and not many third party developers are too interested in porting their old games either. It’s extremely likely none of these experiences are going to get ported.
